Now it’s time to open the shoulders. The longer hitters have a real chance of reaching the green in two and making a birdie. The favoured line from the tee is the left half of the fairway as the ball will kick down to the centre. The second shot should be played up the left side to avoid the right-hand fairway bunker. This leaves a straight forward approach to a large flat green protected by two front bunkers.
