Burnham Beeches Golf Club
Membership

Burnham Beeches Golf Club welcomes applications for membership.

Applicants can either be proposed and seconded by existing Members, have a letter of introduction or handicap certificate from existing or previous Club or be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of golfing ability and knowledge of etiquette.  So if you are new to the area and do not know any club members, a letter of introduction from your current or previous Golf Club may be acceptable.  Please enquire through the General Manager on 01628 661448.  He will be glad to send you an application form.

Applicants can only apply initially for Full Membership (7 days per week) although they may wish to move to Weekday Membership, where play is restricted to Monday to Friday (including public holidays), after 5 years as a Full Member.  Weekday Members can play at weekends with a full member for a reduced green fee.  Applicants will be asked to play an informal round of golf with a committee member prior to a formal interview.

An Entrance Fee of £2000 is payable on joining the Club as a Full Ordinary Member but this is reduced according to age bands for those aged under 30 - see below.  The Entrance Fee can be spread over 3 years at a cost of £1000 in year 1 and £550 in years 2 & 3.  Those under 30 can spread the Entrance Fee over their first 2 years.  To further encourage young players BBGC provides subscription rates which appreciate their financial position and are graduated according to age (see below).  There may be a short waiting period before entry to membership is possible.
